I rebuilt Cold War nuke effects tables for a novel (here's how)

When you load the Nuclear Scenario Simulator, you see circles, plumes, and numbers. To make that happen it took Cold War reference books, manually digitized charts, population data from Oak Ridge, and a lot of javascript code.
